Product description:Lord Vishnu, one of the supreme deities in Hinduism is the preserver and protector of the universe. He is one of the divine Trimurti along with Lord Brahma the creator, and Lord Shiva the destroyer. Goddess Lakshmi, the consort of Lord Vishnu is one of the Divine Trinities worshipped for wealth and prosperity. Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi are riding on Vishnu’s Vahana, the Garuda. Garuda is a divine eagle, and is considered the king of all birds. Garuda has a older brother called Aruna, who is the charioteer of Lord Surya, the Sun God. Garuda and Aruna are the sons of sage Kashyapa and Vinata. The brass statue portrays Garuda seated on a pedestal, and carrying Vishnu and Lakshmi on his shoulders. Vishnu has four hands, with the rear hands holding the chakra and the conch. His front right hand holds a lotus, and his left hand is embracing his wife Lakshmi. Lakshmi has two hands which shows Abhaya and Varada mudra. The couple are comfortably seated on the Garuda, and the Garuda is seen carrying the divine couple with love and devotion.
