Product description: The Buddha is seated on a raised lotus pedestal in Ardha padmasana position (one leg is folded and resting on the ground, while the other leg is folded with the foot in lotus position), and his hands are in Dhyana Mudra. The Buddha has a serene countenance with his eyes looking downward in deep contemplation. He has long earlobes, raised brows, and the small bump on the top the head is called the Ushnisha which symbolizes wisdom and spirituality. The front part of the pedestal has the engraving of Phrae Mae Thorani (Mother Goddess), and the expression of the Buddha is beautifully captured. The antique green finish enhances the details giving a distinguished charm to the statue. A timeless piece that highlights the fine workmanship by our artisans of Cambodia.
