Product description: The bronze statue portrays the Hindu God Ganesh in Bayon style standing on a pedestal. Ganesh is the elephant head God, son of Shiva and Parvathi, and worshipped to bring peace and remove obstacles in one’s life. The Ganesh is in Khmer, Bayon style (A Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple) adorned with a decorated crown, beautiful ornaments, and has eight arms. Each arm holds a weapon; left to right from our perception the weapons in hand are chakra (Wheel), palm script, a goad, a trident, sweet delicacy, broken tusk, stringed bead, and a noose (Pasha). The expression of the Ganesh is beautifully captured, and the antique patina enhances the aesthetic beauty of the statue.
