Product description: The bronze statue depicts Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati seated on the sacred bull Nandi. This form of the divine couple is a significant idol worshipped on the days of Pradosham showing respect to Nandi who protected the Devas and the Asuras from the poisonous substance evolved from the churning of the ocean. Hence worshipping Lord Shiva and Parvati with Nandi on the day of Pradosham removes our sins, and one attains the blessings of the Lord. Shiva has four hands, the rear two hands holds a goad, and a prancing deer. His front hands are in abaya and varada mudra. Parvati holds a flower in her right hand, and the left hand is resting on her lap. The idol of Shiva and Parvati, along with the arch, are removable pieces. The statue's charm lies in its small size, making it a perfect altar piece that effortlessly blends heritage and artistry. The statue of bronze Pradoshamurthi is indeed a beautiful piece with a traditional antique patina, and is One of a kind statue made using the lost-wax method; an expert craftsmanship by our South Indian bronze artisan.
