Product description: Lord Brahma is revered as the creator god in Hinduism, and is one of the Trimurtis along with Vishnu (the preserver) and Shiva (the destroyer). The bronze statue depicts Brahma standing on a lingam with four heads, each representing one of the four Vedas, namely, Rig veda, Yajur veda, Sama veda, and Atharva veda. It is also believed that the four heads represent the four directions, and four yoga’s (Ages). He has four arms, holding a water pot, a manuscript, a rosary, and a lotus flower. Adorned with a stylized dhoti with floral leaf motifs, and long earrings, he wears a decorated crown with the engraving of a sage in meditation. Meticulously crafted with fine details, the statue is indeed a profound representation of Brahma in Khmer style capturing his divine essence, and the antique green patina embraces the statue adding to its visual appeal and spiritual significance.
