Product description: Buddha in Bayon style is standing on a double lotus pedestal wearing ornaments and a decorated crown. The Bayon is a richly decorated Khmer temple related to Buddhism at Angkor in Cambodia. Buddha’s both hands are in abaya mudra, and the face of Buddha has a smiling calm expression with his eyes looking downward in self contemplation. He has long earlobes with earrings, raised brows, and a broad shoulder. The small bump on the top of his head is called the Ushnisha which symbolizes wisdom, and spirituality. The hanging robe of the Buddha is seen covering the back of the statue. The expression of the Buddha is beautifully captured, and the Malachite stone patina enhances the details of the statue; a traditional piece that highlights the fine workmanship by our artisans of Cambodia.
