Product description: Yoga Narasimha is a form of the Hindu God Vishnu. The word "Narasimha" is derived from two Sanskrit words; “Nara" means human, and "Simha" means lion. This form of Lord Vishnu is one of the ten avatars and depicted as a half-man, half-lion being,  symbolizing his immense power and courage. “Yoga Narasimha" specifically refers to the meditative or yogic aspect posture of Vishnu. In this form, Lord Narasimha is often depicted in a sitting, meditative posture, representing inner peace, and tranquility. Devotees worship Yoga Narasimha to seek protection, inner strength, and spiritual growth through meditation and yoga practices.

The bronze statue depicts Narasimha seated in a yogic posture on a lotus pedestal, with his front hands resting on his knee with palms facing down. The rear two hands holds the wheel and the conch. He sits in Utkutika Asana, a yogic posture where both the knees are raised to the level of the chest, and legs resting on the floor with the heel. Both his legs are tied using a belt called yogapatta as a means of support to the raised legs. The face of Narasimha has large expressive eyes, sharp teeth and fangs, and appears less fiery than the faces of other Narasimha statues. This form signifies the tranquil and composed form of Narasimha; the artist has captured a sense of divine wrath and triumph over evil. Narasimha is adorned with ornaments such as a decorated crown, and necklaces, which symbolize his divine status and regal presence. The antique patina exhibits an exquisite blend of earthy hues that evoke a sense of timeless elegance, and adds to the visual appeal of the statue. The bronze statue showcase intricate sculptural details capturing the essence of Narasimha's yogic form, and is one of a kind statue made using the lost-wax method; an expert craftsmanship by our South Indian bronze artisan.
