Product description: Lord Krishna, the son of Vasudeva and Devaki incarnated as the ninth avatar of Lord Vishnu to destroy evil and preach Dharma. Lord Krishna also known as kesava, Mukunda, Muralidhara is worshipped as one of the supreme deities in Hinduism for his compassion and love he shows towards his devotees. The name Krishna is derived from the sanskrit name "Krsna" meaning black or dark. The bronze statue portrays Lord Krishna standing on an inverted lotus which is placed on a rectangular base with figurines of cow engraved in front of the base. The pedestal has an amazing elaborate floral engraved peacock arch attached. The intricate details of the peacock arch is enthralling, and the four cows in the front part of the base gives a splendid appearance to the statue. Lord Krishna stands on this beautiful peacock arch pedestal in a graceful posture with one of his legs crossed, and playing his flute. The flute has a hanging bell, and is removable from the statue. Krishna is adorned with artistically detailed clothing with hanging vastrams around his waist, beautiful jewelries, and an ornamented crown. The face of Krishna has a pleasant smiling expression, and the statue is indeed a resplendent statue of Krishna with details abound. The peacock arch is removable from the base. The statue of bronze Sri Krishna is one of a kind statue made using the lost-wax method; an expert craftsmanship by our South Indian bronze artisan.
