Product description: Lord Hanuman is the son of Kesari, the King of the Vanaras, and Anjana Devi. He is also known as Vayu Putra because he was born by the blessings of Lord Shiva, and the blessings was sent to Anjana by Vayu, the wind God. Because he was born with the blessing of the wind, he had the courage and strength of the raging wind, and is also referred to as Pavan Putra. Lord Hanuman is an ardent devotee of Lord Rama, and one of the important characters in the epic Ramayana and is known for his selfless dedication to Rama. The statue portrays Hanuman standing on a small mount with one of his legs raised and appears in a dance pose. He has four hands; his rear two hands holds a small knife, and the other hand is raised holding a stone which symbolically represents carrying a mountain. His front right hand shows Abhaya, and left hand holds a trident. The bronze statue portrays Hanuman in Cambodia style with lots of intricate details throughout the statue showing the fine workmanship of the artisans of Cambodia.
