Product description: Garuda is a divine eagle, and is considered the king of all birds(Khagesvara). Garuda is the vahana of the supreme God Vishnu. Garuda has a older brother called Aruna, who is the charioteer of Lord Surya, the Sun God. Garuda and Aruna are the sons of sage Kashyapa and Vinata. Garuda is depicted as a man-eagle hybrid, with a body in gold, face and neck in white, well spread out red wings, long-sharp beak, and a crowned head. Some serpents are seen encircling various parts of his body. The brass statue portrays Garuda standing on an inverted lotus in Anjali mudra. He has serpents coiled around his knee, arms and crown. He has wide spread wings, and the face of Garuda has a calm expression and bowing to the lord with kindness and respect. Worshipping Garuda helps remove fear and anxiety from our lives.
