Shubha Drishti Ganapathi is a powerful divine form of Ganesh, and is the 33rd form of Ganesh created by the blessings of Sage Agasthya to remove the effects of evil-eye and protect everyone for their well being. Hence he is also known as Kan Drishti Pillayar. This form of Ganapathi is very powerful as he takes after other Gods and Goddess which is seen in the weapons held in his hands.

The wood panel portrays Drishti Ganapathi with 8 arms, standing on a fully bloomed lotus flower. The eight arms holds a goad (ankusha) and a noose (pasha), a chakra and a conch, a sword and a mace, and the front hands holds a trishul, and a fire bowl. His vahana the mouse is present near his feet, along with a ferocious lion standing behind him which symbolizes Maa Durga. The attributes conch, chakra, and mace (Gada) symbolizes Lord Vishnu, the third eye on his forehead, serpents coiled in his trunk, and the fire bowl symbolizes Lord Shiva, and he takes after his mother Parvathi by holding a trishul in his hand. The tip of Ganesh crown has a small lotus flower with the kalasam (holy water pot), and his head is surrounded by Nagadevatas emitting fire, and the fire is surrounded by a circle of eyes.
