Product description: Medicine Buddha also known as the buddha of healing cures and eliminates sickness and sufferings. The statue depicts Buddha seated in a cross-legged position (Padmasana yoga pose or full Lotus position), his left hand holds a medicine bowl of healing nectars, and his right hand holds a stem of healing plant between the thumb and index finger. The small bump on his head is called Ushnisha which symbolizes wisdom, and the forehead has an auspicious spiral mark called Urna which is often referred to as the third eye. The face of the Buddha has a serene countenance with long ear lobes, and his robe is engraved with scenes of Buddha’s life.
