Product description: Goddess Lalitha devi is worshipped as the universal mother embodying the powers of creation, protection and destruction. She is worshipped in many forms and names, especially during the festival of Navaratri. Lalitha sahasranamam is considered a sacred text to worship Mother Lalitha, and is also used for worshipping other Goddess's like Durga, Parvathi, Kaali, and Bhagavathi. The wood panel portrays Lalitha Devi seated on a decorated throne in Lalithasana pose (one leg folded inwards and the other leg hanging down) with Lions as arm rest, and one of her feet resting on a Lotus. Lalita Devi is often depicted as a young, and radiant goddess with a charming and blissful expression, and the wood carving has all the attributes of Lalitha Devi adorned with beautiful ornaments, decorated crown, a crescent shaped moon, rear hands holding an axe and a noose, while her front hands holds a bunch of flowers, and a sugarcane. Most importantly, Sree Chakra placed near her feet is one of the most important iconographical feature of Lalita. A pair of hanging bird lamps, and a fruit and flower bowl are placed at the base as offerings to the Goddess. The floral outer frame is indeed elegant, and the keen attention to details given throughout the panel best illustrates a fine workmanship by our team of artists. Wall hanging hardware is attached to the panel. Lalita Devi holds a significant place in the Shakta tradition, which emphasizes the worship of the Divine Mother as the ultimate reality and creative force of the universe. Her devotees seek her grace and guidance to attain spiritual liberation and experience the divine bliss of union with the supreme consciousness.
