The eight arms holds a goad (ankusha) and a noose (pasha), a chakra and a conch, a sword and a mace, and the front hands holds a trishul, and a fire bowl. His vahana the mouse is present near his feet, along with a ferocious lion standing behind him which symbolizes Maa Durga. The attributes conch, chakra, and mace (Gada) symbolizes Lord Vishnu, the third eye on his forehead, serpents coiled in his trunk, and the fire bowl symbolizes Lord Shiva, and he takes after his mother Parvathi by holding a trishul in his hand. The tip of Ganesh crown has a small lotus flower with the kalasam (holy water pot), and his head is surrounded by Nagadevatas emitting fire, and the fire is surrounded by a circle of eyes.
