Product description: Jharoka is an architectural window of Rajasthan and was very famous during medieval times in many kingdoms throughout Ancient India. The most important function of the window is that it allows people to see outside, without themselves being seen to the public. Jharokas are constructed in a way to make the building appear more beautiful, and used as a window or like a balcony for a room. The wood panel of Jharoka is incredibly designed and carved with two peacocks atop, and amazing leafy floral patterns throughout the outer frame. The two women portrayed in the panel are elegantly dressed and one of them has a bird seated on their knee. Keen attention to details have been given throughout the panel demonstrating a fine workmanship by our team of artists. Wall hanging hardware attached to panel.
