Product description: Lord Ganesh, the God with an Elephant head is worshipped for wisdom and success. He is the Hindu "God of beginnings" who is honored at the start of all rituals and any new beginnings. The brass statue portrays Ganesh seated on a raised pedestal engraved with figurines of Ganesh and his vahana the mouse in the front, and has Lakshmi with elephants at the back of the pedestal. Ganesh has Surya (Sun God) halo. The forehead has a trident symbol, and lotus flower engravings on the trunk. The rear two hands of Ganesh holds an ankusha and a pasha (noose), and the front right hand shows Abhaya. His lower left hand holds a sweet delicacy. Ganesh is adorned with jewelries, and a serpent is tied around his fat pot belly. The brown yellow finish highlights the aesthetic details of the statue, and the pedestal engravings on both sides of the statue is certainly admirable; one of the most beautiful Ganeshas from our collections.
