Product description: This joyful Budai throws his head back with laughter, a sack slung over one shoulder and a gourd in his other hand. A strand of prayer beads hangs across his round belly, which bears an auspicious coin for prosperity. The hibiscus wood’s natural two-tone grain, with deep green tones against cream gives the piece a unique, organic character, flowing down into a free-form base that keeps the raw shape of the timber. Lovingly hand-carved by a Balinese artisan, this Budai makes a cheerful emblem of happiness, abundance and good fortune for your home or office.
