Product description: Lord Nataraja is a form of the Hindu god Shiva, who is revered as the god of destruction and transformation in Hinduism. In this form, Lord Shiva is depicted as a cosmic dancer who performs the divine dance of creation, preservation, and destruction. The iconography of Lord Nataraja is rich in symbolism. He is usually depicted with four arms, one of which holds a drum, and another holds a flame. The drum symbolizes the rhythm of the universe, while the flame represents the destruction of ignorance and the power of knowledge. His right hand is in Abhaya mudra, and the left hand is in a typical dance pose with his palm facing inwards. The statue depicts Lord Nataraja dancing on the demon Apasmara, which represents the ego, and surrounded by a ring of fire which symbolizes the cycle of birth and death. Lord Nataraja's dance  known as the "Ananda Tandava" is believed to be the source of all creation. It is said that his dance brings about the destruction of the universe and the beginning of a new cycle of creation. Lord Nataraja is revered by devotees for his power, wisdom, and ability to bring about transformation and renewal. The statue of Nataraja certainly exemplifies the impeccable work by our artisans that exudes a divine aura.
