Product description: Lord Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, and is the God with an Elephant head. He is worshipped for wisdom and success, and is the "God of beginnings" who is honored at the start of all rituals, and any new beginnings. The brass statue portrays Ganesh seated on an amazing pedestal engraved with figurines of Himself, and also the mooshikas(mouse). He is also called as Mooshika vahanan as he rides on a mouse, and his vahana the mouse is seated on the pedestal. The upper two hands of Ganesh holds an ankusha and a pasha (noose), and the lower right hand shows Abhaya with the symbol AUM on his palm. His lower left hand holds a sweet delicacy (modak). The face of Ganesh has a calm expression with a trishul symbol engraved on his forehead. The floral designs on his vastram(clothing), his ornaments, the snake tied around his belly are all beautifully engraved and given an antique fine finish which enhances the aesthetic appearance of the statue making it very admirable.
