Product description: A beautiful brass lamp with a bird Annam atop, and has a seven wick flower-petal like deepam plate.The stem of the lamp is engraved beautifully with circular patterns, and has four parrots clinging on to the stem like sitting on a tree. The base of the lamp has a star-like five wick deepam plate, and the lamp is supported by a sturdy floral engraved stand. The deepam plate in the lamp is filled with oil or ghee, and a wick (strands of thread or cotton) is placed inside to light the lamp. In Hinduism, lighting the lamp symbolizes the removal of darkness and brings good fortune in one's life. The bird Lamp looks amazing with an antique fine finish, and the two deepam plates at the top and bottom enhances the beauty of the lamp; One of my favorite lamps from our collections.
