Product description: Lord Ganesh is the God with an Elephant head, and is worshipped for wisdom and success, He is the Hindu "God of beginnings" who is honored at the start of all rituals, and any new beginnings. The brass statue portrays Ganesh seated on an amazing circular pedestal engraved with figurines of his vahana, the mouse. Ganesh is wearing a decorative turban, and is seated comfortably on the pedestal with his legs folded. The upper two hands of Ganesh holds an ankusha and a pasha (noose), and the lower right hand shows Abhaya. His lower left hand holds a sweet delicacy. The head of Ganesh is held high, and the face of Ganesh has a calm expression with a trishul symbol engraved on his forehead. The umbrella above Ganesh is held by a standing mouse, and the mouse is seen wearing a perfect suit and holding the umbrella with pride showing his respect to the Lord. The umbrella is removable, and can be set to different positions. The combination of an antique brown and fine natural brass finish enhances the aesthetic appearance of the statue making it very admirable. Indeed a majestic representation of Ganesh from our collections.
