Product description: Buddha born as Siddhartha, is a philosopher and a religious leader who follows “Dharma” and whose teachings led to the start of Buddhism. The statue depicts the Buddha seated on a Lotus in a cross-legged position (Padmasana yoga pose or full Lotus position), with his right hand touching the Earth ( Bhumisparsha mudra), and left hand resting on his lap. The robe of the Buddha is well draped showing natural curves and is engraved with florals and auspicious symbols. The face of the Buddha looks serene and exudes a divine aura; certainly a beautiful sculpture of the Buddha with a peaceful countenance and one of my favorite Buddha statues from our collections.
