Product description: Goddess Lakshmi is the Hindu goddess worshipped for wealth and prosperity. Lakshmi is the consort of Lord Vishnu, and daughter of Bhrigu and Khyati. She is also called as "Shri", the feminine energy of Supreme Being. The Lotus flower in her hands is associated with purity of mind, body and soul. In Hinduism, Friday is the auspicious day for Lakshmi and worshipping the Goddess with flowers and lighting the lamp is believed to bring good fortune. The wood panel portrays Lakshmi seated on a fully bloomed lotus with two Elephants flanked at the sides with their trunks raised. There is an umbrella above the Goddess, and a pair of vaishnava symbol hanging lamps on either sides of the umbrella. Lakshmi is adorned with beautiful jewelries and holds the lotus flowers in her rear two hands, and her front right hand shows abhaya mudra with coins falling into a bowl, and the left hand shows varada mudra. There is also a pair of standing lamps at the base along with pots of gold coins placed at the two ends. The outer frame is square shaped designed with an inner arch floral patterns and supported by pillars. The wood panel perfectly illustrates a fine workmanship by our team of artists. Wall hanging hardware is attached to the panel.
