Product description: Varahi Amman is the Goddess with a boar face and has the attributes of a warrior. Varahi is one of the Sapta Matrikas; a Sapta Matrika is the female counterpart of a God, and a form of Shakthi. Varahi is the female counterpart of the Varaha avatar of Vishnu, and the other Sapta Matrikas are Brahmani - consort of Lord Brahma, Maheshwari - consort of Lord Shiva, Vaishnavai - consort of Lord Vishnu, Kaumari - consort of Kumara, Indrani - consort of Lord Indra, and Chamundi - consort of Yama. There are different texts in Hinduism that explains the stories of the Matrikas and the origin of the Goddesses in different forms, and they all explain that the Matrikas took these forms for a common purpose, and that is to protect the universe and establish peace and dharma.

The brass statue of Varahi has the face of a boar and seated on an inverted lotus pedestal in lalitasana pose. She has eight hands, and each hand holds a weapon. The weapons in her eight hands are chakra, conch, plough, danda, axe and a noose(pasha). Her front hands shows Abhaya and Varaha mudra. The powerful Goddess Varahi blesses her devotees with miraculous boons, hence she is revered by her devotees as “the granter of boons”. She removes drishti dosha, destroys evil forces, and blesses her devotees with knowledge, courage, strength, and fulfills one’s desire for a prosperous life.
