Product description: Kwan Yin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, sits serenely in meditation within an arched niche carved into crocodile wood. One hand is raised in a gesture of teaching and blessing, and the other holds her vase of pure nectar. She has long been a symbol of mercy and of a listening, healing presence. Her calm face, high crown, beaded necklace, and softly draped robes are carved with care. Flowing floral work rises behind her like a halo, and the smooth honey-tone gives the piece the feel of a small shrine. Because the outer bark follows the shape of the original tree, this unique piece makes a peaceful focal point for a meditation space, altar, reading nook, or living room.
