Product description: Nataraja is Lord Shiva in his cosmic dance form called “Anandatandava”. The statue depicts Nataraja in an unique pose with his right leg stretched outwards and left leg in a slightly bent position. The right hand is stretched out to hold his right leg, and left hand is gracefully down holding a serpent, thus depicting a perfect dance pose. Nataraja holds a damaru (drum) in his rear right hand and left hand holds Agni(fire). There are ten serpents coiled in different parts of his body which is an iconography of Lord Shiva. The three tone finish - deep green, copper and golden yellow looks amazing, and enhances the details thoroughly giving a splendid appearance to the statue. One of my favorite Nataraja statues from our collection.
