Product description: Lord Krishna, son of Vasudeva and Devaki, incarnated as the ninth avatar of Lord Vishnu to destroy evil and preach Dharma. Lord Vishnu incarnated himself as Lord Krishna in the Dwapara Yuga for two important events. In the first, Lord Krishna defeated his evil maternal uncle, Kamsa. Secondly, He was the mentor of the Pandavas during the battle of Kurukshetra. He is the god of compassion and love, and worshipped by his devotees as the supreme god.
The brass statue portrays Krishna standing on an inverted lotus square pedestal playing his flute. His rear two hands holds the chakra and the conch. He is also called Vamsidhar which means the bearer of the flute. Krishna is adorned with artistically detailed clothing, beautiful jewelries from head to toe, armlets with Kirtimukha face, and a tall decorated crown with intricate designs that has a Kirtimukha face. The halo attached behind the crown has beautiful floral patterns like that of a sun rays. The face of Krishna has a serene, smiling expression, and the hanging vastrams around his waist and on his shoulders has stunning details that enhances the beauty of the statue.
